Chilling on Youtube Yesterday.....

Its funny sometimes when you are going through youtube with nothing to do and you come across something thats a blast from the past. Yesterday I came across this gem by Axis of Awesome, The Four Chords Song:

Just made me think about how borrowing four chords for something could produce so many great songs. And on top of it, it creates a great mashup! I saw this when it first became a viral hit in 2009.

While Axis of Awesome say the four chords is 'all it takes to be a star', I personally think it really shows that by borrowing music and doing something new with it you can create so many amazing songs!
